What to do when the ToneFit keyboard does not appear
Short answer
This usually happens because the keyboard was not fully added, Full Access was not reflected yet, ToneFit was not selected from the globe key, or the app has not been reopened since setup.
This article is for you if
- You do not see ToneFit in the keyboard rotation.
- Setup looked complete in Settings but ToneFit still is missing in a text field.
- The app still shows an incomplete activation state after setup.
Most common causes
- ToneFit was not actually added to the iPhone keyboard list.
- The Full Access state is not confirmed yet.
- You are still using another keyboard and have not switched to ToneFit from the globe key.
- The app or keyboard extension has not refreshed after the settings change.
Fix order
- Open Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards and confirm ToneFit is listed.
- Open the ToneFit entry and confirm the Full Access state if needed for rewriting.
- Return to the ToneFit app and check whether activation now appears complete.
- In a text field, use the globe key to switch directly to the ToneFit keyboard.
- If it still is missing, close and reopen the current app, and reopen ToneFit if needed.
